Janie Crow Mystical Lanterns Blanket Bellisima/Bambino Crochet Blanket Kit

This is my version of Janie Crowe's beautiful Mystical Lanterns pattern! Crocheted solid colour Lanterns using Stylecraft Bellissima/Bambino Dk rather than multi coloured as per pattern. 

Included in the kit is 10 balls of yarn, a copy of pattern and my amendments from the original. Keep the white for joining and edging and from each of the 9 colours you will comfortably make 11/12 motifs. I completed 98 full Lanterns omitting the half lanterns as I wanted a wavy edge. If you feel you'd like to do the half motif you will still have sufficient yarn. These 98 motifs allowed me to do a layout of 7 Lanterns in a vertical row x 14 rows. A great size for a standard 2 seater couch. 

Approx size of finished blanket is 45" x 50". 

If you require a larger blanket you will need more yarn! 

Colours included in the kit: Cream, Soft Pink, Flaming Fuchsia, Sage, Perfectly Peach, Double Denim, Teal, Raspberry Riot, Mellow Yellow and Crystal Blue. 

 Hooks not included! Recommended 4.5mm for motif, 5mm for slip stitch join and 6mm for slip stitch edging if you are using my method.
